Dance
Davidic Dance is an expression of worship
Davidic Dance is an expression of worship that is a meaningful part of our Jewish Heritage and connects us to our roots. Davidic Dance was named for King David who danced before the Lord when he saw the Ark of the Covenant arriving in Jerusalem (2 Samuel 6:14). Dancing has played an integral part in Jewish Feasts, weddings and celebrations all throughout history. When we come together to worship we desire to do so with freedom and joy as we praise Adonai. Davidic Dance is part of our regular Shabbat worship service and anyone is welcome to join in!
“The Shechinah Dancers” will often present their dances for special events and Feasts throughout the year. Dance is taught every Shabbat after the service and the team is always happy to see new faces!
