Weekly Update: January 18th
Shalom everyone
We are into the 17th day of the New Year and after 15 months there is finally a breakthrough in Israel’s war with Hamas. Lord willing Israel and Hamas have reached a cease fire agreement. Hamas has agreed to begin releasing hostages over the next 42 days but at a tremendous price. Israel will be releasing hundreds of terrorists from prison in exchange for these hostages. Hamas cannot be trusted and so time will tell whether these precious souls will be released to their loved ones. Pray that it will be so.
Monday will be an important day for America as President Trump is inaugurated for a second time. He is committed to make America great again. Time will tell if he will be able to make this happen. Continue to pray for Canada as we will be facing an election this year and hopefully Canada will be great again under new leadership that promises common sense and responsible government. We are certainly living in prophetic times, but there is tremendous hope and a bright future ahead of us as we eagerly wait for the soon coming of our Messiah.

Beth Shechinah has a new ministry called “Give and Take“.
If you have items to give or items you need –
This ministry is based on Proverbs 19:17 –
“One who is kind to the poor lends to Adonai,
and Adonai will reward him for his good deed.“
Also, 2 Corinthians 8:14 –
“At present your abundance can help those in need; so that when you are in need, their abundance can help you – so that there may be equality.”
The need for this ministry first became apparent when many Ukrainian refugees began to attend the congregation.
The ministry will work this way:
Stephanie and Michael Braun will now be heading up our Give and Take Ministry. They have storage space available and also have the ability to deliver items as needed.
If you have good quality items available to donate or if you have a particular need for an item – please contact the Brauns. The email address to contact is:
Please let us know if you need these….
